More information

Dive deep into a galaxy far, far away with The Fans Strike Back exhibition, only the best destination for any Star Wars fans this side of the Mos Eisley cantina.

The ultimate in Star Wars fandom

If you’re a Star Wars aficionado, you need The Fans Strike Back in your life. This event, created by fans, for fans is a big deal in the resistance. Running throughout the summer there’s a whopping 40 years’ worth of memorabilia on display from official armour, lightsabers, helmets, ship replicas and blasters as well as hundreds of collectibles and costumes. There has never been a better time for all things Star Wars – especially if you missed out on Star Wars Celebration also in London earlier this year.

You can easily lose a whole day here, revelling in the careful designed sets, dodging the pew-pew of blasters and listening to the hypnotic hum of a lightsaber as your journey through the timeline and lore of the Star Wars universe

Interactive experience

As well as the exhibits, there’s the chance to immerse yourself in a unique VR experience and travel through the galaxy yourself and take photos with your friends in front of a green screen placing you into a star ship, or one of the many planets in the galaxy.

Do your best imperial walk onto the bridge of a star destroyer and check out the displays of ten different ship models before heading back to solid ground to see 1:2 scale Snowspeeder (From Episode V) and an AT-ST, everyone’s favourite imperial walker, from a new perspective.

By the fans, for the fans

You’ll be greeted by an amazing mix of official and fan-made Star Wars items throughout the exhibit, showing the dedication and love for one of the world’s largest pop culture creations, as well as huge fan. And of course, there’s a chance to take a chunk of the galaxy home with a gift shop souvenir.

You can visit this brilliant experience on Thursdays through Sundays in this summer. Located in the heart of South Kensington, it’s a great reason to spend a day or two in the capital visiting museums if you’re travelling in from out of town. The National History Museum, V&A, and Science Museum are all less than a five light years er, minutes walk away.
