Most beautiful bay in Wales
Cardigan’s buzz is on the up. The gleaming waters of Wales’s largest bay are a siren call to savvy summer visitors coming for the coastline, countryside and cute indy shops but once autumn hits, it’s all about the Other Voices Cardigan Festival.
Welsh music festival
This glorious three-day festival is an off shoot of the renown Other Voices music festival based in Ireland. It’s all about heartfelt music, raw talent and diverse up and coming singer songwriters.
This is a brilliant chance to size up new talent. Some of names that have played here since the festival’s inception in 2001 have included Little Simz and Arlo Parks and Sam Fender.
Other Voices line up 2024
This year's line-up is something else. With the fab Charlotte Day Wilson's R&B tunes, Fionn Regan's Irish folk, and Bill Ryder-Jones's heavier sounds, this line up has something for everyone!
Music trail
The event encompasses Cardigan as a whole; as well as the main venue at St Mary’s Church, there’s a music trail that snakes all over town and showcases an amazing array of emerging Welsh and Irish voices in hip-hop, folk, grime, indie, punk and more.
Great bands, brilliant price
We can’t believe the Other Voices festival isn’t better known; a wealth of talent, in an intimate setting, for only £50; now that’s something to sing about.
