York Ghost Bus Ride
Try a ghostly bus tour through the most haunted city in the world!
York is a city full of history, beginning with the Romans in 71 AD. With a history that long, there are bound to be so many stories that filter through generations of its inhabitants. The York ghost bus tour will take you to some of the spookiest locations in ‘the most haunted city in the world’ including York Minster, Clifford’s Tower and the grave of Dick Turpin, the infamous murderer and highwayman.
This is an evening ghost bus tour, on a classic Routemaster with its own spooky history to discover, and an entertaining guide telling you ghostly tales of ghostly apparitions and spectral figures who roam the haunted areas of the city. Grab a seat on the shadowy bus as you wind through the dark, narrow streets, watching out for any sightings yourself. You’ll have a full understanding of York’s sinister and spooky history by the time you disembark, back in the safety of a local pub.
York’s ghost bus ride tour has an afternoon or evening start, allowing it to fit perfectly into your itinerary.
