London is full of amazing eateries and experiences so planning a weekend in this city seems like a daunting task… but we have done it for you! Here’s a crash course on your 48 hours in London:

Need somewhere to stay?

Arrive in London on Friday morning and make your way over to Tottenham Court Road to check into your hotel. Friday Afternoon

Once you’re settled in, head above ground and make your way over to Chinatown and Covent Garden to wander the numerous cafes, take an obligatory picture at the Arch and wander the maze of eclectic shops in Covent Garden. Take a moment to stop at Sakurado in Chinatown for some delicious Japanese cakes and mochi. A great afternoon pick me up.

In the mood for drinks? Head to Mrs. Riot in Covent Garden for an exciting riotous time with Drag shows, a karaoke room, outrageous live entertainment, and brilliant cocktails for a lively few drinks.

Friday Night

How better to spend a dark and spooky evening than walking in the footsteps of Jack the Ripper? This awesome walking tour of Whitechapel will show you the scenes of East London’s most notorious murderer with brilliant special effects.

Awaken for a delicious brekkie at Drury 188-189, voted the best cafe in Covent Garden. Grab a second coffee to go and head down to Waterloo to take on London’s Golden Loop. This walk will take you from The Southbank, across Waterloo Bridge, and southwest past The Houses of Parliament and Westminster, before heading to Westminster Pier to take to the water. Duck and Waffle is a 'must' for an elevated breakfast, but we're saving that for Sunday.

Saturday Morning

Take a fab one-hour cruise from Westminster to Greenwich to check out London’s sights from the vantage point of the River Thames. Sail past the Tower of London and under the infamous Tower Bridge before docking at the Cutty Sark maritime museum.

Once you’re full, walk off lunch by exploring Greenwich. Famous for its use in so many films, the Old Royal Naval College and Greenwich Park offer amazing views of the tall skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. Head north, using the Greenwich Foot Tunnel to travel under the river onto the Isle of Dogs, before heading over to the iconic O2 venue.  

The O2 is one of London’s largest concert venues and the big white tent is synonymous with the Eastenders opening title. Now, you can climb it, to see the London skyline in a completely new way. Your guides will harness you in and help you hike your way over the top of the building. Look back West to see central London in the sunset.

Saturday Evening

All that walking and climbing is bound to make you hungry, so make your way back West to Wapping for a brilliant old-school style Italian. Il Bordello has authentic stone-baked pizzas and pasta dishes alongside expertly paired wines are on offer here, perfect to start of your Saturday night in London town. A London institution.

Next up is a drink or three at Prospect of Whitby, with riverfront views from their beer garden and as one of London’s oldest pubs (1520) there’s plenty of history here.

Sunday Morning

Whilst it might be a little out of your way, making your way over to Duck and Waffle near Liverpool Street is totally worth it. The insane waffle toppings and top tier full English are exactly what you’ll need after a night of partying.

Once you’re full, get on over to Marble Arch for the Frameless Immersive Art Experience. See classic artworks brought to life with sensory rooms, lights, and music to really appreciate these artworks in a new way.

Time to head through the greenery of Hyde Park towards Buckingham Palace for a bit of sightseeing of the iconic parks and palace approach. Then head downriver again to the iconic Borough Market (foodies heaven) for lunch, drinks and mingling with the masses.

Sunday Afternoon

Roast is a contemporary British restaurant found above Borough Market offering a top tier Sunday lunch menu with insane ingredients. You’ll have never had a lunch like it!

Walk East towards Tower Bridge and cross the river to head to the Tower of London. No visit to the city is complete without heading into one of London’s most notorious landmarks. Get a tour of the grounds from a Yeoman Warder (Beefeater) and look at The Crown Jewels.
